Parameters

appender

The appender to add to the root logger.

If layout is not provided, use a PatternLayout with the conversion pattern:

• %r [%t] %p %c %x - %Y%m%y%n if color is enabled (the default)
• %r [%t] %p %c %x - %m%n if color is disabled
